How it works
Everything that piles up on the kitchen table at night, handled during the day. Here's each step, and what you control.
- Call comes in
- Job booked
- Quote sent
- Quote followed up
- You do the work
- Invoice sent
- Paid
- Review requested
1. Calls come in
A trained person who knows your trade, your service area and your prices answers as your shop — during the hours you choose. Outside those hours, every missed call gets a text back in seconds, and anything urgent comes straight to you.
Fewer than 3% of callers sent to voicemail leave a message. Invoca, 2024
2. Jobs get booked
Straight into Jobber, ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Joist or your calendar, using a limited login you create. We can add jobs and notes; we can't change your prices or delete customers, and you can switch us off any time. Emergencies flagged. Tire-kickers don't get a 40-minute drive.
Over 70% of customers expect a same-day reply; more than half within the hour. Jobber Home Service Trends 2026
3. Quotes go out
Driving away from the walkthrough, text or email us a voice note and a few photos. We send back an itemized quote for you to approve. Nothing goes to your customer without your OK — unless you tell us in writing that small repairs under a set amount can go straight out.
4. Quotes get followed up
Unsigned estimates get a friendly nudge on day 3 and day 10. You'd be surprised how many just needed a reminder.
Only 37% of in-home estimates close on the first visit. ServiceTitan, 2026
5. You do the work
The only part of this that needs you.
6. Invoices go out
You mark the job complete (or text us). We build the invoice from the quote and your notes, in your software, under your name, with a payment link by text and email. Card, bank transfer or check — however you already take payment.
Pros who accept online payments get paid four times faster, according to Jobber. Jobber Home Service Trends 2026
7. You get paid
A polite reminder at 7 days and again at 14. The money lands in your own account — we never hold it, and never take card numbers over the phone. Flag the customers we shouldn't contact, like the longtime regular. Past 30 days, we keep following up on the schedule you approve, or hand it back to you — your call. In your first month, we'll also follow up on your old unpaid invoices, up to 90 days overdue, free.
Small businesses with unpaid invoices are owed $17,700 on average. QuickBooks, 2026
8. Reviews roll in
Every finished job gets a text asking for a Google review, so your next customer finds you.
47% of consumers won't use a business with fewer than 20 reviews. BrightLocal, 2026
Every call is recorded and transcribed, and the customer's details are filled in for you. Every month you get a short review: calls handled, jobs booked, quotes signed, invoices paid, and what we got wrong. English and Spanish.
Example: a no-heat call at 11:40pm in February
- A person answers as your shop, gives the recording notice, and gets the name, address, callback number and what's happening.
- They run your emergency checklist: no heat with kids or elderly in the house, frozen pipes, a smell of gas or oil. If there's a gas smell, they tell the caller to leave the house and call the gas company or 911 first.
- If it's urgent by your rules, they call you or your on-call tech within 2 minutes. No answer in 5 minutes, they call your backup, then the owner, and keep trying until someone picks up. An emergency is never booked for a later day.
- If it truly can wait, they book the first slot you allow and tell the customer exactly when.
- You get a text with the summary. The call, recording and job are in your system by morning.
On plans without overnight answering, the caller gets an instant text back and urgent calls forward straight to your phone.

A few more nights we're ready for
Electrical: "burning smell from the panel," 8:15pm
If there's smoke or flames, the caller is told to get out and call 911. Otherwise, the person on the line gets the address and details and calls you or your on-call electrician within 2 minutes — and your backup if nobody picks up in 5.
Septic: "tank's backing up," Saturday 7am
The person on the line takes the name, address and whether it's backing up or routine, and texts it to you and anyone else you choose. We don't promise a day — you pick the route.
Snow: "am I on the plow list?" 5:10am
We check your route list and tell the caller yes or no, and roughly when to expect the truck. New requests come to you as a list, not 40 separate calls.
Storm: 200 calls in two days
Calls stay unlimited. Every caller gets a person or an instant text back. Urgent calls — lines down, water coming in, no access — reach you first, and everyone else gets a clear answer on when you'll be there.
